INSTRUCTIONAL

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT. Assistant Professor. Teaching interest in strategic management. Research interest in organization theory and strategic management. Applicants should have the following credentials: doctorate in management or a related field completed by August 1996; strong training in empirical research methods; demonstrated strong research interests. NON-INSTRUCTIONAL

DEPARTMENT OF WOOD SCIENCE AND FOREST PRODUCTS. Research Associate. Non-tenure-track, 12-month appointment. Responsibilities: conduct experimental research into the structural design and performance relationships of wood pallets and containers; operate laboratory testing equipment; supervise technicians and graduate students doing research; operate the telefax pallet fastener quality-analysis service. Qualifications: knowledge of the physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of wood; knowledge of use of mainframe and personal computers; experience as an experimentalist of the testing of wood; knowledge of unit-load material-handling environments. The position is available on May 13, 1996. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experiences.
