Red Cross drive supports troops

Spectrum Volume 19 Issue 01 - August 29, 1996

The national and local Red Cross committees are sponsoring a drive to help U.S. service personnel stationed in Croatia and Hungary in support of the Bosnia peace mission.

The Red Cross seeks the following items: video movies, candy, cookies, paperback books, playing cards, sports drinks, microwave popcorn, CD's, and cassettes.

The donated items may be placed in specially marked boxes at the following sites: Harris Teeter and Kroger in Blacksburg, and the Food Lion on N. Franklin St. and Kroger in Christiansburg.

Donations will be accepted until September 1.
