The primary research area is software engineering. Background in human/computer interaction is also desirable. The ability to teach a variety of courses and to support the administrative needs of the program are required. College of Forestry and Wildlife Resources. Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance. The assistant dean coordinates the school's financial and personnel responsibilities, including the following: prepare annual operating budget and long-term financial plans; serve as liaison with university financial and personnel offices; maintain and reconcile financial and personnel records; develop and oversee financial and personnel policies. The college has three departments, more than 700 students, 78 faculty members, 38 staff members, and a $10-million annual budget. Qualifications include a B.S. in business-related discipline, five years of academic financial/personnel management experience, mainframe and microcomputer financial records expertise. Preference for advanced degree, experience in budgeting, accounting, human-resource management, and a general knowledge of issues in higher education.
