Board of Visitors to meet on campus November 10, 11

The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors will meet on campus Monday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. in Squires Brush Mountain Room.
The board will consider, among other business, a resolution discontinuing the community-college doctoral-degree program, a restructuring of two undergraduate-degree programs in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies, and a resolution for bond authorization for student residence facilities.
The committees of the board will meet at the following times:
The Academic Affairs Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in 232 Squires.
The Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet in executive session at 8:30 a.m. in the Boardroom of the Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center, and in open session in conference room A at 9 a.m.
The Finance and Audit Committee will meet in executive session at 7:30 a.m. in the Private Dining Room of the Donaldson Brown Center, followed by the open session at 8:30 a.m. in the Executive Conference Room.
The Student Affairs Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the Appalachian/Blue Ridge Room of Donaldson Brown Center.
The board will meet for an informational session Sunday, Nov. 10, in the Donaldson Brown Center.
