Assistin the development of digital natural-resource information to supportVirginia's Tributary Strategy program for the James, York, and RappahannockRiver basins. Office of the Executive Vice President. Assistant to the Executive VicePresident. The assistant to the executive vice president (EVP) aids andassists the EVP in daily operations and management of work flow, as well ascoordinating all planning efforts for finance and administrative areasreporting to the EVP. Daily operations include management of correspondenceprocess, special projects and reports, organization and development ofpresentation materials, and oversight and review of materials development forthe Board of Visitors' meetings for the finance and administrative areas. Theassistant to the executive vice president will also act as reviewer for alladministrative policies, including the development of new policies. Theassistant to the executive vice president, as a member of the executive vicepresident's staff, will work as a team member with EVP staff members and otheruniversity officials as well as external constituents to accomplish operationaltasks of the Executive Vice President's Office. A master's degree in businessadministration, public administration, or other closely related field, and atleast five years experience in higher-education administration are required.The successful candidate must have well-developed organizational skills andknowledge of or experience with planning concepts.
