Kathleen M. Riley, 44, of Blacksburg died Friday, Oct. 17, at Hospice Atlanta (Georgia). She had been hospitalized much of this year at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta for treatment of multiple benign brain tumors (neurofibramatosis). Riley had lived in Blacksburg since 1972 and worked at Virginia Tech; first at Media Services, and later at Newman Library.
There will be a gathering of her friends November 11 at 4 p.m. For more information, please contact Joyce Nester at 1-9205 or nester@vt.edu by Friday, Nov. 7.
Friends are requested to make a donation in her name to the Montgomery County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
