Harris
named
interim director

Zelma Harris has been named interim director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. She has been with the office since 1989 and has served as associate director since July 1996.
Meanwhile, a formal search is under way to fill the director's position vacated by Julie Sina who announced her resignation in October to take the position of dean of students at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Review of applications is scheduled to begin Feb. 1, 1998. The position will be filled by July 1, 1998. The search committee is headed by Dean Peter Eyre of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
