Founders Day Observance
Set for April 3
Founders Day, Virginia Tech's annual celebration of the academic and professional achievements of its faculty, students and staff, will be held in Burruss auditorium on Friday, April 3, beginning at 3:15 p.m.
University President Paul Torgersen will address the annual convocation about the impact of the land-grant university.
Provost Peggy Meszaros has sent a letter to all deans, directors and department heads encouraging members of the faculty to attend the annual celebration, either as a member of the academic processional or as a member of the audience.
Following the Founders Day program, the Corps of Cadets will conduct a Retreat Ceremony on the Drillfield.
