GSA research symposium set

Spectrum Volume 20 Issue 25 - March 26, 1998

On Wednesday, April 8 in Squires Old Dominion Ballroom, the Graduate Student Assembly will be hosting "New Frontiers for the Next Millennium: the 14th Annual Research Symposium of Virginia Tech."
This symposium provides graduate and undergraduate students an opportunity to showcase their achievements in research. Students participate in the symposium by submitting 250 words, and displaying their work in a poster presentation. Posters are to be submitted in the following categories: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities, an undergraduate category, and a web-based "virtual" category. Cash prizes are presented to the top three presenters in each of the five categories. In addition, each participant will receive a certificate of achievement.
Registration is available exclusively through an on-line form which can be accessed at http://gsa.uusa.vt.edu. Select the link for "1998 Research Symposium." Deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THIS DATE. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
