Faculty women elect officers

Spectrum Volume 20 Issue 31 - May 21, 1998

The Virginia Tech Faculty Women's Club met in May for a luncheon and board meeting. The meeting completed the club's activities until August 27.
Officers elected for 1998-1999 are: president--Delores Hendricks; honorary president--Dot Torgersen; vice president--Barbara Wierwille; recording secretary--Susan Caceci; corresponding secretary--Nancy O'Brien; treasurer--Emily Collins; historian--Manisha Singal. Directors-at-large are Pat McGuire, Liz Goodsell, Jill Bowen, and Anne Cannell.
The club has awarded two scholarships of $1,000 each to two outstanding Virginia Tech junior women students: Jennifer Seal, Michelle Stebner, and alternate, Amanda Margin. The club also contributed $500 to the P. Buckley Moss Foundation for learning-disabled children.
