CVC COACH OF THE WEEK
This week's CVC coach is electrical engineering Professor Ted Rappaport, a world-renowned expert in wireless communication. He leads us against the West Virginia Mountaineers who will be tough to beat both on the football field and at charitable giving. West Virginia participates in a state campaign much like our CVC and they have achieved a 101-percent increase in giving over the last five years. Last year, 34 percent of the WVU employees participated in their campaign that raised $185,000. If we just tie them in participation, the generosity of our Virginia Tech employees will push us well over our $195,000 goal. The campaign ends early this year, so send pledge cards in now. (B.
