CVC COACH OF THE WEEK
This week's CVC coach is Alumni Distinguished Professor James I. "Bud" Robertson, well-known Civil War historian and author. We've chosen Robertson to lead us for the Virginia game to be held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. In CVC giving, UVa is one tough opponent. Although their participation rate last year was only 16.6 percent, they raised $329,190. Last year only 15.4 percent of Tech employees participated in the CVC, but we raised $165,632, so the size of our average gift exceeded theirs by nearly $40. (B. Veltri)
