Lucille Whitman Graham, age 76, of Rt. 2, died Wednesday evening in Radford Community Hospital. Born in Wythe County, January 27, 1914, the daughter of the late Sidney Price Whitman and Rosamond Vaughan Whitman, she had taught school for over twenty years in both Wythe County and Pulaski County. She was a member of the New Dublin Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Joe Graham Jr.; two daughters, Jane Whitman Graham, Dublin; Sidney Graham Hatsell, Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Joseph Samuel Graham, Dublin; David Draper Graham, Boston, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Delp, Comers Rock; Mrs. L.T. (Beth) Pratt, Draper; Mrs. Rex (Patsey) Painter, Wytheville; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the New Dublin Presbyterian Church with Rev. John K. Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visiting will be Friday afternoon. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulaski County Rescue Squad or the Highland Presbyterian Children's Home, Wytheville.
