WHITE, MAXINE V. RADFORD - Maxine V. White, 41, died Friday in a Montgomery
County hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Tracy Michelle White and Leslie
Renee Turpin, both of Christiansburg; one grandson, Matthew William Turpin,
Christiansburg; four sisters, Wanda W. Huffines and Shelby W. Moore, both of
Burlington, N. C.; Helen W. Joyce, Haw River, N. C.; and Sandra W. Price of
Blacksburg; one godchild, Kimberly Ann Shelor, Blacksburg. Maxine was an
employee of St. Albans Hospital with thirteen years service. She had a special
love for young people, speaking of them often. She will remember them always.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel
with the Rev. Jerry Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in Sifford
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the
DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
