THE MANY EVIL FRUITS OF GREED

"THE KILLING fields": coca, tobacco, barley, etc. Eradicate either and we cripple the respective economy; maintain the status quo and we face incalculable human misery. A more frightening dilemma is unprecedented.

Meantime, let's not worry about our environment. Let's remove the remaining trees and build another shopping center, despite the inability to rent the spaces. The concrete and asphalt serve to further heat the ozone, and we will be reaping fat taxes from the property owners. Let the future generations cringe from our lack of foresight.

Explore Project? Wouldn't a couple of youth centers better serve this community? Nighttime air pollution along Williamson Road and other local thoroughfares would surely diminish.

Isn't greed a terrible disease?
