\ JOHN W. BURRESS III has been elected president of Associated Equipment Distributors, an international trade association. He is also president of J.W. Burress, Inc. of Roanoke. Burress joined the company in 1958 as administrative assistant. He was appointed president in 1964.
\ JUDY H. TULLIUS has been named general manager of Tanglewood Mall. Tullius, a certified marketing director, was general manager at Regency Mall in Augusta, Ga. before joining Tanglewood. She has also been marketing director of the Winona Mall in Winona, Minn.
\ EDWARD P. GODSEY has been named president and general manager of the Roanoke Packaging Division of Chesapeake Packaging Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Corp. He joined the company in 1985 and was most recently assistant general manager for the Roanoke Division.
\ TYE CAMPBELL and GREGORY JONES have been named associates at Sherertz, Franklin, Crawford, Shaffner, Inc. Campbell is director of structural engineering and has been with the company five years. Jones is a project manager specializing in facilities for the elderly and educational projects. He joined the company in 1983.
\ PIEDMONT Trust Bank has appointed the following new board members: W. C. Beeler Jr., president and chief operating officer of Virginia Mirror Co. Inc. and Virginia Glass Products Corp.; John M. Franck, president, chief operating officer and director of Tultex Corp.; Jacob E. Frith II, executive vice president of Frith Construction Co., Inc.; Earle W. Greene, president of Dominion Homes Corp. and Earle Greene Associates; and William F. Stone Jr., attorney.
\ MIKE AGEE has been promoted to vice president of retail at M & M Brokerage Co. He will supervise the company's retail sales representatives in Virginia and West Virginia.
\ DR. CHARLES C. HARRIS of Roanoke has been elected president of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association.
