LAMBERT, MILLARD H., SR. Dr. Millard Hurst Lambert, Sr., age 76, of Roanoke,
died Saturday, March 3, 1990. He was born in Princeton, W.Va. and was a member
of the First Christian Church. From 1935 to 1942, he practiced chiropractic in
Pulaski, Va. During World War II, he served in the United States Army Medical
Corps in the South Pacific. After the war, he practiced in Roanoke until his
retirement to Franklin County, Va. in 1974. He is survived by his wife, Hazel
Owens Lambert; daughter, Deka Lambert Tate, Banner Elk, N.C.; two sons, Howard
Kennerly Lambert, New York City, N.Y.; Millard Hurst Lambert, Jr., Roanoke;
brother, Dr. Raymond K. Lambert, Roanoke; sister, Glenna Lambert McKenzie,
Bluefield, W.Va.; seven grandchildren. No visitation or funeral services will
be held at this time. The family requests no flowers. Services and interment
will be in the family cemetery in Mercer County, W.Va. at a future date.
