OBIT TOMLINSON, P.

Mrs. Pauline T. Tomlinson, age 85, of Vinton, died Monday in a Bedford Hospital. She was the widow of H. W. Tomlinson and was a longtime member of the Vinton Baptist Church. She retired from Smartwear Irving Saks of Roanoke. Surviving are a daughter, Jewell W. Dudley, Vinton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Logwood, Bedford; Maggie Mitchell, Big Island; two brothers, William Turpin, St. Thomas, Ark.; George P. Turpin, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 1990, with the Rev. William L. Ross officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
