BACH-A-THON SET FOR MARCH 24

The Roanoke Chapter, American Guild of Organists is sponsoring a "Bach-a-thon," a 12-hour marathon concert of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

The event will be held March 24 from noon to midnight at Christ Lutheran Church, at Grandin Road and Brandon Avenue.

Approximately 150 musicians will perform on harpsichords and organs and in chamber groups, choirs and ensembles.

Admission is free, and listeners are welcome to come and go through the day. A nursery will be provided for small children. For more information, call 982-8334.
