More than 1,500 tracks have been discovered and are estimated to be 210 million years old.
The site has been studied by scientists from the Virginia Museum of Natural History and the U.S. Geological Survey.
Several of the tracks are now on display in the `Steps in Time" exhibit at the General Assembly Building in Richmond. The exhibit will be combined with an educational program and taken to museums, schools and libraries throughout Virginia.
Field trips to the quarry will begin in April.
Reservations for tours can be made by contacting the museum at (703) 666-8600.
