PAN AM OFFERS FIRST-CLASS FREEBIES

Pan American World Airways announced a new policy Wednesday, promising a free flight to anyone with a valid complaint about service in first class on its flights between New York and San Francisco or Los Angeles and between Washington and Los Angeles.

The offer is valid only between March 15 and April 15, and the tickets must be full fare and round trip. The carrier's aim is to have people try its first-class service on the transcontinental routes. - The New York Times
