APPROVAL OF SITE DUMPS ON THE PEOPLE

NOW THAT the county supervisors have approved the Smith Gap site as a dump, you have a good proof of how much they think of the people.

We banned against this destruction and pollution of our land, water and air. It's supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and where the majority rules. This is no longer true in Roanoke County.

Our supervisors no longer represent the people. They promise everything before elected, but after getting into office they no longer care what the people want.

The use of this site as a dump will have a bad effect on everyone along Bradshaw Road all the way to Route 311 and beyond. MARION S. ROBERTS SALEM
