OBIT CRAWFORD, A.

Arthur Jackson (Jack) Crawford, age 59, of Salem, passed away Saturday in a local hospital. He was a retired insurance agent for State Farm Insurance Agency. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired Major in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was also a member of North Roanoke Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Stephen J. Crawford, Albany, Ga.; C. Kelly Crawford, Roanoke; daughters, Michelle C. Peters and Sandra C. Snyder, both of Roanoke; his mother, Dorothy Crawford Overstreet, Salem; one brother, Paul F. Crawford, Rocky Mt.; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 1990, from the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Darryl G. Crim and Dr. B. Conrad Johnston officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Salem Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
