James George Hagy, Sr., age 62, of 6531 Garman Dr. N.E., died Saturday, March 10, 1990. He was retired Purchasing Agent for the Mohawk Rubber Co., Salem. He is survived by his wife, Nell Howery Hagy; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Hagy Burnette and Alton M. Burnette,; their children, Brian and Anita Burnette, all of Roanoke; one son, James G. Hagy, Jr., Radford; his children, Kelly and Beth Hagy; their mother, Robin L. Hagy, all of Roanoke. Mr. Hagy is also survived by two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 1990, with the Rev. Eddie Nash of Tazewell, Va., officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
