COLONIAL HEIGHTS - Mrs. Alice Humphries Dancy, age 74, of 1010 Lafayette Avenue, Colonial Heights, died Friday, March 9, 1990, in Greenville Memorial Hospital, Emporia, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Dancy. She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Dancy and Helen Vaughan, both of Colonial Heights; Jeanette Agnew, Floyd; two sons, Claude Dancy, Jarrett; Aubrey Dancy, Floyd; ten grandchildren, Frankie Vaughan, Tim Vaughan, Vicki Vaughan, Sherry Finch, Gwen Agnew, Dan Agnew, Lisa and Randy Dancy, Jennifer and Nicky Dancy; five great-grandchildren, Rachel, David and Brian Vaughan, Julie Agnew, and Sarah Finch; two brothers, James Humphries, Pennsylvania; Wilbur Humphries, Colonial Heights. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 11, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
