SAXTON, GENEVIEVE S.\ Genevieve Snyder Saxton, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, March 9, in a Salem hospital after a long illness. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence Saxton; sister-in-law, Jean Snyder of Roanoke; nephew and wife, Russell and Pat Snyder, Roanoke; a niece and husband, Carolyn and Ron Shough of Ridgeway, Va.; niece and husband, Beverly and Norman Weiss of Chicago, Ill.; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins out of state. Funeral services will be at the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. STeve Dye officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
