HURD, BEULAH P.\ BLACKSBURG - Mrs. Beulah Price Hurd, age 84, died Saturday, March 10, 1990, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Thornton Hurd. Mrs. Hurd was a member of Blacksburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel Payton and Norma B. Hurd, Topeka, Kansas; Harry Thomas and Jane D. Hurd, Blacksburg; two grandchildren, Michael Bryan Hurd, Overland Park, Kansas; Tamara Lynne Hurd, Topeka, Kansas; one sister, Myrtle P. Thompson, Blacksburg; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, 3:00 p.m. at Blacksburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack A. Minnick officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home.
