YOUTHS ATTACK MAN, STEAL HIS WATCH

A Roanoke man was beaten by five teen-agers and then robbed of his watch early this morning, police said today.

Daniel Allen Reed, 26, told police he was attacked by five youths as he was walking in the area of 20th Street and Rorer Avenue about 2:30 a.m. today.

After finding no money on Reed, the teen-agers took his watch, valued at $300. Reed was treated at Community Hospital for a cut to his nose and rib injuries.
