HUSBAND CHARGED IN ATTACK ON WIFE

A Roanoke man has been charged with using a knife to cut his wife's long hair, then slashing her several times in the back.

Sharon K. Fowler, 27, was in bed about 8:41 a.m. Saturday at her home on Broad Street when the attack happened, police said.

Timothy William Fowler, 34, of the same address was charged with malicious wounding.

Sharon Fowler was treated at Community Hospital.
