On Feb. 26, the flagship of Greenpeace, the Rainbow Warrior, was recovered from Auckland Harbor, New Zealand.
It was sunk on July 10, 1985. A crew member was killed when two bombs exploded near the crew's quarters and on the starboard hull near the engine room.
Little or no mention was made of the Warrior's recovery in the paper or on the news programs. Even though this event is happening in New Zealand and perhaps is not noteworthy to you, it is important to me and perhaps others.
Please consider doing an article on the Warrior on the anniversary of its sinking.\ LESLIE R. HALL\ ROANOKE
