The Rev. Dr. Eric W. Gritsch, specialist in Reformation history at Gettysburg (Pa.) Lutheran Seminary, will speak on "Christian Unity: Obstacles and Advances."
The services will be Sunday-Tuesday, beginning with an 11 a.m. program at Radford High School. Nursery and childrens' activities will be by Radford Presbyterian. Potluck lunch follows.
The Lenten services are annually scheduled by Radford Presbyterian, Christ Lutheran, Grace Episcopal, Central United Methodist and St. Jude Catholic churches. Child care is provided each evening.
The Presbyterian church, Fourth and Randolph streets, will be the site on Sunday night at 7. Grace Episcopal, Second and Harvey, will be host on Monday night at 7 and Central United Methodist, Eighth and Wadsworth, on Tuesday night following a dinner at 6.
Dinner tickets may be bought at participating churches.
Gritsch has a doctorate from Yale and has been an writer, professor and participant in ecumenical dialogues for nearly 20 years. He is ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
