ACCIDENT ON I-81 KILLS ABINGDON MAN

A 20-year-old Washington County man died Tuesday evening after his car ran off Interstate 81 and struck a tree.

Michael David Dickerson of Route 1, Abingdon, died at Bristol Regional Hospital after the 6:30 p.m. accident.

The accident occurred near the Meadowview exit.
