RULING STRENGTHENS NINTENDO'S DOMINANCE

A federal appeals court has ruled that Nintendo of America Inc. may sue retailers who buy unauthorized Nintendo games from its competitors, strengthening Nintendo's dominant position in the industry. Nintendo had more than 80 percent of the $3.4 billion video-game business last year.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the circuit in Washington made the decision March 7, but it was disclosed Wednesday. - The New York Times
