OBIT PRISTOU, B.

Mrs. Betty Jean (Elizabeth) Pristou, age 65, died Tuesday, March 13, 1990, after a long illness. She was born in Washington, Pa., and was a Registered Nurse for 43 years. Surviving are five children, Carol King, Roanoke; Pam Freiheit, Plainville, Conn.; Paige Whistine, Moline, Ill.; Robin Pristou, Robert Gar Pristou, both of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; one sister, June Sphar, Vero Beach, Fla.; one niece; three nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roanoke Memorial Hospice at P.O. Box 13367, Roanoke, Va. 24033, or the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at Oakey's North Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
