CHICAGO FIRM HIRES JACK SMITH AGENCY

The Jack Smith Agency of Roanoke has been named advertising agency of record for ASSA High Security Locks of Chicago, replacing AndCom of Chicago on April 1.

Founded in 1881, ASSA is one of the world's leading manufacturers of security lock systems. It competes internationally with Medeco Security Locks of Salem.

Wayne Wilkerson, president of ASSA and a former executive of Medeco, said the Roanoke agency was selected over numerous national agencies because of its imaginative creative work and in-depth marketing abilities. - Staff report
