WACKY BIRD HANDS OUT PRIZES AT HOME BUILDERS SHOW TODAY

NEWS: WKEX will be live today with a remote from 1-5 p.m. during the New River Valley Home Builders Show at the Blacksburg Community Center. The Wacky Bird will be on hand with prizes.

More fun this week with WVVV's two Rock 105/Coca-Cola "Bring Home the Entertainment" contest parties. Tonight it's 7-9 p.m. at the Blacksburg Marriott. And on Friday the party is 7-9 p.m. at Radford Brothers in Blacksburg on N. Main St. Register to win a complete home entertainment system.

WPUV has a new Friday program at 4 p.m. called the "Curtis Mathis Bluegrass Hour" with live performances by Friends of Bluegrass.

On Monday, WKEX spotlights Reba McIntre 7-10 p.m. New country releases will premiere at 1 p.m. Monday on WKEX.

"Country Crossroads" on WRAD Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and WKEX 8:30 a.m. Saturday and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, features Don Williams, Michael Martin Murphy, the Forester Sisters, Michael Johnson, Paul Overstreet and Randy Travis.

"Ralph Emery Show," aired on WRAD weekdays at 10:30 a.m. and on WKEX weekdays at 2:30 p.m., spotlights Shenandoah.

WPSK's "Best Night of Radio on Radio," Tuesday 8-11 p.m., plays the NRV top 25 countdown plus "Disc Jockey Records & Tapes CD of the Week," which is "Pages of Life," a new release by the Desert Rose Band.

\ LIVE: On March 24, WVVV will be live at Triangle Lanes, and will take phone-ins for the annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New River Valley fund raiser, "Bowl For Kids' Sake."
