PETERS, LINDA S.\ Linda Sneed Peters, 44, of 3753 Whispering Lane, Roanoke, died Thursday in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, Tody D. Peters; one son, David Peters, at home; one daughter, Rhonda Atkinson, at home; mother, Mary Frances Sneed, Roanoke; two brothers, Millard Sneed, Swartz Creek, Mich.; Frank Sneed, Pensacola, Fla.; seven sisters, Goldie Cox, Margaret Walker, and Pearl Harrison, all of Salem; Joyce Stacey and Judy Bush, both of Roanoke; Garnet Barber, Richlands; Verna Wickline, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Funeral will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Rick L. Via officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, is in charge of arrangements.
