Warren Ziegler McAllister, age 68, of Roanoke, and formerly of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, March 17, 1990, in Roanoke. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, a member of the First Christian Church of Wytheville and a retired Chief of Police in Wytheville, Va. Surviving are his wife, Martha Page McAllister; daughter, Brenda Sue McAllister; son and daughter-in-law, Vance Allen and Gloria B. McAllister; two grandchildren, John Justin McAllister and Adrienne Daye McAllister, all of Roanoke; three brothers, Howard Tate McAllister, Blacksburg; Guy H. McAllister, Roanoke; Arthur Ford McAllister, Wytheville; two sisters, Ida Berger, Holmes Beach, Fla.; Eva Spraker, Wytheville. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
