WYTHEVILLE - Glenda L. (Jenny) Bradberry, age 46, of 300 Cove Rd., died Monday
in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was the manager of the Bannister
Shoe Store in the Fort Chiswell Outlet Mall, a member of the Ark Church in
Rural Retreat, a member of the PTA and served in the U.S. Navy. She is
survived by her husband, Billy Edmond Bradberry, CWO4, U.S. Navy Retired; two
daughters, Kimberly Ann Bradberry and Karen Eve Bradberry, both of Wytheville;
three sons, Donald Keith Bradberry and Khristopher Alexander Bradberry, both
of Wytheville; Ronald Kevin Bradberry, U.S. Navy, Va. Beach; one
granddaughter, Ashley Roxanne Bradberry; her mother, Harriet Lucretia Worrall
of New York; one sister, one brother, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Marris and the Rev. Rae Mullins
officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be
taken to the church one hour before service time. The family will receive
friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. The family
suggests that those who prefer may make memorials to the Wythe County Rescue
Squad. Barnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
