OBIT LONG, R.

Richard "Shorty" Randolph Long, age 82, of Roanoke County, died Monday, March 19, 1990. He attended Grandin Court Baptist Church and was a member of the Elks Lodge #1459, Princeton, W.Va. Mr. Long was retired from Virginia Foods, Inc. and was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Aldridge Long, of 46 years. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Gaynelle W. Long, Salem. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel Wednesday, March 21, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert M. Hamner officiating. Interment in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
