Charlie Edgar (Barley) Belcher, age 81, of Rt. 5 Stuart, died Monday in the Blue Ridge Nursing Home. Surviving are one son, Bruce Belcher, Stuart; one brother, Thomas Belcher, Meadows of Dan; five sisters, Mrs. Gay Edwards, and Mrs. Pauline Bolt, both of Meadows of Dan; Mrs. Lula Harris, Radford; Mrs. Monnie Lovins, Christiansburg; and Mrs. Minnie Harmon, Floyd; one granddaughter, Mrs. Beverly Belcher Hughes, Stuart; one great-grandson, Adam Hughes, Stuart. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
