WINSTON, CARRIE M.\ Mrs. Carrie Mowles Winston, of Salem died March 19, 1990. She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Winston; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Jerry Overton, of Newcastle; granddaughters, Lynn Horn, of Salem; and Rebecca Overton, of Newcastle; grandson, Joseph Garst; of N.C.; brothers, B. Frank Mowles, Jr., of Roanoke; Carl E. Mowles, of N.C.; sister-in-law, Mary L. Winston, of Blacksburg; great-grandson, Joseph Horn, of Salem. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. James Herron officiating. Friends may call at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
