TENNIS EXHIBITION BENEFITS WORLD HUNGER

A tennis benefit is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday at the Hunting Hills Country Club.

The exhibition, which is open to the public, is being played to raise money for the Hunger Project, an international non-profit organization committed to ending world hunger by the year 2000.

The match features area professionals Larry Lineberry, director of tennis at Hunting Hills; Tom Gibbs, director of tennis at Hidden Valley Country Club; John Barker, associate professional at Hunting Hills; and Drew Evert, director of tennis at the Sports Racquet in Lynchburg. Evert is the older brother of retired women's tennis star Chris Evert.
