SMITH, ARLENE O.\ Mrs. Arlene O. Smith, age 87, of 327 Hershberger Road, N.W., passed away Wednesday, March 21, 1990. She was the widow of John E. Smith. Surviving are two sisters, Lelia O. Boone, and Elmira O. Noell, both of Roanoke; six nephews; and two nieces; three step-children, Carl L. Smith, Newton, N.C.; Juanita S. Burton, Calif. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, with Dr. Denver J. Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Overstreet Family Cemetery in Montvale. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
