STOLEN-CAR TRACKING DEVICE BEING TESTED

A device that can help authorities locate stolen cars is under evaluation by State Police.

The chalkboard eraser-sized LoJack is installed in automobile electrical systems. If a car is stolen, police can transmit a signal that activates the device, causing it to emit a signal that can lead police to the car.
