OBIT-WRIGHT, H.

Herman F. Wright, age 88, of 1009 Old Country Club Rd. N.W., died Friday, March 23, 1990. He was a retired employee of the Norfolk & Western Railway, a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, and a active member of the Rose Society. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Stevens Wright. Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Hazel W. King, Bristol, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Dr. Jerry O. Campbell officiating. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Abbey in Evergreen Burial Park. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Capitol Improvement Fund of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1305, Roanoke, Va. 24007. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
