NARROWS - Eula Lovell Lamb, age 85, of Narrows, died Friday, March 23, 1990,
at the Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, W.Va., after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Giles County. She was born October 15, 1904,
and was the daughter of the late Peery and Nannie Viola Wilkinson Lovell. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey C. Lamb, and a daughter, Araminta
Mae Lamb. She was a long time member of the First Christian Church (Disciples
of Christ), in Narrows, and the Lakeland Chapter #74 Order of the Eastern
Star. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, W. Edward and Freta Lamb
of Narrows; a daughter, Aletta S. Hale, Narrows; four grandchildren, Connie
Spangler Meredith, Moorefield, W.Va.; Bonnie Spangler Rose, Greenwood, Del.;
Susan Lamb Brookman, Hampton, Va.; Phillip Lamb, Seaford, Va.; four
great-grandchildren; one half brother, Edward O. Heslep of Vine Grove, Ken.; a
half sister, Freeda H. Williams, Narrows. Funeral services will be held Monday
morning at 11:00 a.m. March 26, 1990, at the First Christian Church, Narrows,
with the Rev. Jack E. Music officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview
Cemetery, Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service
in Narrows Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00.
