Irene Litton Counts, age 78, of Roanoke, died Sunday in a lojjcal hospital. She was the widow of Brice M. Counts and was a member of Coeburn United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Sue and R. Jack Thomas, Roanoke; Delores Jane and Louis C. Dillon of Lynchburg; Patricia Kay Burnette of Riverdale, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Lee and Renee' R. Counts of Roanoke; grandchildren, Michael Dillon of Philadelphia, Pa.; Elizabeth Dillon, Lynchburg; Susan Thomas and Sara King, both of Roanoke; Scot Thomas, Fort Campbell, Ky.; Charles Burnette, Riverdale, Ga.; David Burnette, Daytona Beach, Fla.; Linsey Counts, Roanoke; sisters, Edith Turner of Castlewood; Shirley Kiser of Coeburn; brothers, Fred Litton of Castlewood; Bill Litton, Dante. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. C. Lawrence Dodson officiating. Interment will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke.
