MYERS, C. WESLEY, SR.\ Charles Wesley Myers, Sr., age 77, of Roanoke, died at his home on Sunday, March 25, 1990. He was a member of Patterson Memorial Grace Brethern Church. He was a retired banker formerly with Bank of Virginia and retired as Assistant Vice President at Colonial American National Bank. The charter member of Roanoke County Rescue Squad #5, Hollins and a charter member of Hollins Lions Club and was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Nininger Myers; two sons and one daughter-in-law, C. Wesley, Jr., and Louise Myers, Roanoke; and Richard G. Myers, Salem; two sisters, Evelyn Myers, Roanoke; and Anita Cranford, Del.; three grandchildren, Timothy, Alison, and Kristie Myers, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 1990, with the Rev. Don Eshelman and the Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Tombstone Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Patterson Memorial Grace Brethern Churh on Hollins Road, Roanoke or to Roanoke County #5 Fire & Rescue Aid, 7401 Barrens Road, N.W., Roanoke. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
