PULASKI - Narbra J. Ridpath, age 82, died Monday at his home. Surviving are
his wife, Ruby W. Ridpath, Pulaski; a son and daughter-in-law, Benny C. and
Becky Ridpath of Radford; two stepdaughters, Glenna C. Sutphin, Pulaski; and
Barbara C. Whitt, Yadkinville, N.C.; four sisters, Sylvia Eanes,
Christiansburg; Doyle Branscom and Grace Farmer, both of Radford; Daphine
Smith, Snowville; and Buford Ridpath, Kingston, Md.; three grandsons, David
Ridpath, Mark Ridpath, and Greg Ridpath, all of Radford; three
stepgrandchildren also survived. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday
at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Burton and Dr. James E.
Sorrell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to the New River Valley Hospice, Inc., or
to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to
9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
